THE LANG MULTI-PURPOSE SEMI-SUBMERSIBLE

REAL ESTATE.
IN THE OCEAN.

A standardized offshore infrastructure platform designed to be leased, configured and redeployed across multiple industries.

01 / WHY

Every offshore project starts by reinventing the platform.

That means years of engineering, complex fabrication, expensive one-off construction and an asset designed around a single mission. Craig Lang took a different view: simplify the foundation, standardize what can be standardized, and let the mission change without rebuilding the host.

They worked. Just.

02 / THE PLATFORM

Keep it simple.

Four large square columns. A continuous submerged ring pontoon. A large, uninterrupted deck. Flat-panel, box-girder construction. No unnecessary structural forest.

03 / THE BUSINESS

Own the platform. Lease the deck. Redeploy the asset.

MILC — the MPSS Infrastructure Leasing Company — is designed to own standardized hulls and dry-lease them to operators. The lessee controls the topsides and operations. MILC provides the floating asset.

The commercial edge is capital efficiency: a simpler hull architecture designed for repeatable fabrication, not a premium day-rate justified by excessive build cost.

04 / MULTIPLE MISSIONS

The platform is the product. Applications are the tenants.

01

Deepwater production

Heavy topsides and riser integration on a low-motion host.

02

Floating power

HVDC, grid support and offshore power-island applications.

03

Floating wind

Large-turbine support, shared infrastructure and cable-risk reduction.

04

Water & utilities

Desalination, treatment, resilience and remote utility capacity.

05

Data infrastructure

Stable offshore space for power-dense compute and cooling systems.

06

Future industries

Hydrogen, CCS, aquaculture, logistics and missions not yet defined.

05 / THE PROOF

Evidence before marketing.

MPSS was examined through independent engineering, model testing, classification review and commercial studies. The design is not being introduced from a blank page.

06 / THE ASK

Fund the work that gets MPSS-1 to contract.

Seaways is seeking development capital and strategic partners to complete the next bankable milestones:

  • Current class-society engagement
  • Updated FEED and design-basis confirmation
  • Independent fabrication pricing and schedule
  • Anchor-lessee development and lease documentation
  • Project-finance preparation for the first hull

Build once.
Deploy for decades.
Change the mission. Not the platform.
