MPSS is a general-purpose low-motion offshore foundation with a 30,000 tonne deck payload envelope. The lessee brings the topsides. This is a running, numbered list of what that deck can carry — and it is deliberately unfinished.

A · Energy production and carbon
Steel catenary risers hung off the ring pontoon, well-bay structures and process modules on deck. The governing motion case for the whole design.
Anchor caseShort-life fields that cannot justify a bespoke hull. Lease for the field life, then move the hull. Turns uneconomic reserves into developable ones.
Near-termDehydration, sweetening and compression close to the wellhead, exporting conditioned gas to shore or to an LNG facility.
Near-termFeed gas pre-treatment and utilities alongside a liquefaction train, decoupling the marine asset from the process contractor.
OpenCompression, injection wellheads and monitoring over depleted reservoirs or saline aquifers. Typically a joint venture with no in-house hull expertise — leasing simplifies the structure.
Near-termElectrolysis powered by co-located wind or gas, with synthesis and export handling on deck. Keeps the hazard envelope offshore and away from populated coastline.
OpenB · Power and grid
Converter halls, transformers and switchgear for offshore wind beyond practical AC cable distance. Topsides on current units already reach 18,000–20,000 tonnes — inside the MPSS payload envelope.
Anchor caseArray collection, transformation and export for a wind farm cluster, delivered as a moored hull rather than a bespoke jacket build.
Near-termA turbine mounted on a corner column, with dispatchable generation and storage on the same deck. One platform that produces and firms its own output.

The commercial task is not finding applications. It is converting one of them into a signed take-or-pay lease.
